The towel shorts were such a big hit because they’re so comfy, it was a no brainer to make towel pants for the upcoming cooler months.  I made myself a pair as a trial run and I’ve basically been living in them, they’re extremely cozy!  These pants are meant to be worn a little baggy and relaxed and bc of that, the crotch does not sit as high up as it would on a pair of jeans.   This is helpful in understanding what length you need for your inseam.   You can subtract an inch or two from your usual jeans/fitted pants inseam measurement.

Also, some of the pants in this collection have the gathered ankle but not all!  If you choose a pair that is not gathered and you would like them to be gathered, please shoot me a DM on Instagram and let me know.  Please note that adding the gathered ankle will use 1″ of the inseam. Each pair of pants in this collection will have an elastic waist as well as a drawstring for that extra good fit and two oversized pockets so you don’t have to carry a bag if you don’t want to!

This pair is a mashup of a a pile of vintage towels that create the perfect mix of textures and designs.  This is the thickest pair from this collection and would probably be best for someone who lives where it gets chilly in the fall and winter.  Please note, this pair DOES have the gathered ankles.

I try to give my best guess on the sizing but encourage you to always use your measurements.  It can be tricky to measure your own body and add in enough extra space for ease and such so my best advice is to measure something you already have and love the fit of.  That being said, based on the measurements, these shorts would likely be best for someone who generally wears an M/L , depending on how you like the fit.

The materials I use are vintage and will show some wear and minor imperfections.  This is a beautiful patina that comes from years of love and mending.   Any major imperfections are carefully repaired through visible mending.   My goal is first to make you a garment that is sturdy af and will last a lifetime and second, a one of a kind piece of wearable art.   I recommend washing your new garment on a gentle cycle and laying flat to dry.  Thank you for being part of Mother Nature’s Army by supporting slow fashion.
